- 2/3 cup Planet Oat Unsweetened Original Oatmilk
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons ube powder
- 2 Tablespoons ube extract
- 1/2 cups hot water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 cup bread flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 Tablespoons vegan butter
- Glitter for decorating
Directions
- Combine hot water and Ube powder in a small saucepan. Place over medium heat and sit until Ube powder is fully rehydrated. Set aside.
- Heat Planet Oat Unsweetened Original Oatmilk to 100F and stir in active dry yeast. Take off the heat and set aside for 10 minutes.
- In a mixer, add sugar, bread flour and salt. Mix to combine.
- Once mixed, add yeast mixture from step 2, softened butter, Ube extract and rehydrated Ube from step 1. Mix to combine. Knead mixture, and once ready, place in a greased bowl to rest. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 1-2 hours until double in size.
- Oil hands and divide the dough into rounds. Roll each portion into a ball and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Cover with damp cloth and let them rise for 35 minutes.
- Bake at 350F for 10-12 min. Cool on a rack and decorate with sprinkles.
